
How to Cleanse Your Energy

There is an ENDLESS, INFINITE amount of ways to cleanse your energy! It is a lot more simple than we think. My personal favorite is visualization, and if you have ever gotten a reading with me, you have seen how quick and effective it can be.
VISUALIZATION: Close your eyes, relax and breathe. Imagine your energy field right in the moment. How does it look? It may look dull, fuzzy, or gray. Begin to cleanse, washing a bright light over your entire energy field. I usually do white, but you can add colors depending on your healing needs.
I love to imagine a “bubble” of protection surrounding me after this cleanse. This is a daily meditation I do and it can range from 1 minute to 10 minutes!
SMOKE: We all know about smoke cleansing! There are many ways you can do this. Sage, Palo Santo, Incense, other herb bundles, and even candles. All you have to do is set the intention to cleanse your space and waft the smoke anywhere you want to cleanse.
I personally like to smoke cleanse my space and items more than my Self. Everything is personal, but I feel a deeper cleanse for my Spirit during a visualization than a smoke cleanse. Same with my room or items, I feel much more of a cleanse with the smoke.
AFFIRMATIONS: The power of your tongue, baby!!! Start your day with positive affirmations. This sets the tone of the day with POSITIVE, high vibe energy. What you speak comes into your reality. Especially if your day starts rocky, rushed or you are just feeling discouraged, TAKE CONTROL. Affirming is my favorite way to snap me back into alignment.
Whenever I am stuck in a negative mindset, I affirm the opposite. For example, if I am having a day where I just don’t feel good enough, I focus on affirming that i AM enough, I am worthy, I am talented and intuitive and fucking awesome!! See how that immediately lifts the mood, even just reading it? Try it!
MOVEMENT: Moving your body is amazing to release unwanted energy and stress of the day. A lot of people (including myself) like to shake the energy off. Yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. Just stand up and shake your legs, hips, arms, everything you can! You can even add in affirmations like “I release, I cleanse, etc”
Other forms of movement can have a cleansing, spiritual effect as well if you set the intention. For example, if you want to go on a run to release the energy from the day, decide that with each step, negativity will drain from your energy field.
You are in control of your energy everyday! The truth is, no one is responsible for the way you feel but you. You have the choice to sulk in your negative feelings (which sometimes is needed) or to get up and move that energy. Like i said, no one will do it for you.
There are plenty of times that I allowed myself to sulk, I knew what I could do to make me feel better and just didn’t do it. IT IS OKAY TO HAVE DAYS LIKE THAT. It reminds the soul that you are human. Just don’t let yourself stay there too long, because it can get comfortable.
